My HR and leadership career has spanned the last 20 years, most recently serving as VP of People for Birmingham, AL, award-winning technology company, Daxko. Before that I spent 10 years at one of the nation's largest direct mail organizations, MSpark, serving in a variety of HR leadership roles including Director of Recruiting and Director of HR.

Throughout my HR leadership career I have led recruiting, training and development, benefits, and employee relations functions.  In addition, as a member of an executive leadership team, I participated in making company-wide operations decisions, merger and acquisitions strategies and, naturally, corporate People Strategies.

I've been recognized as a Top HR Innovator and The Top HR Executive for Medium Sized Companies by the Birmingham Business Journal, and love to give back to Birmingham by serving on the board of the local SHRM chapter.

And if you are interested: I hold a BFA in theatre performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and obtained a Master’s in HR Management from the University of Alabama. In addition, I am SHRM -CP and HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certifications, and am a charter member of the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: 

I am addicted to TV, love to cry at movies, think wine and a wheel of Brie make a well-balanced dinner, and sing in my car daily. My husband and cat are the Yin to my Yang.
